Description

Perspective of the Rideau Canal locks, viewed from the Pariament Hill, between the Parliament buildings and the Fairmont hotel-Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I took this travel photograph in a sunny November afternoon, with a clear visibility of the Ottawa River and Gatineau, Quebec, on the other side. I was on the shady side between the two building walls, as it was the man observing the scenery. The sunlight at the golden hour was illuminating only the end of the image nicely showing the autumn colors, the river and even some hills in the distance.
* The Rideau Canal, has been designated a UNESCO - World Heritage Site
