Description
Overview of the St. John's city and harbor on the Atlantic Ocean, capital of the Newfoundland and Labrador province of Canada. Located on the tip of the Avalon Peninsula on the Newfoundland Island, this is a very colorful city, with many historic houses in the Victorian style mixed with newer modern buildings. One of the newest buildings is the famous "The Rooms", a cultural center built in the style of fishermen's shacks, and it stand out on top of the hill with its bright red blue and yellow colors. The harbor is always busy, with many cargo ships and big industrial fishing boats, coming from and going to the ocean. I took my original photo in a mild October afternoon at twilight, and made it as a colored pencils artwork.
