Description
A one story historic wooden building on the main street, downtown Challis Idaho now closed. It looks like most recently in the past of this Wild West town, it used to be a newspaper place, as the main sigh reads The Challis Messenger. Other two signs attest that this establishment used to also be a saloon at different points in time: Watson and Jordan Saloon in 1880 and Black's Saloon in 1904. I also liked the large roof terrace of it. You can read more about the history of this place in my travelways.com blog: https://www.travelways.com/challis-idaho-a-quiet-historic-town/
