Artist's Description
The giant spider sculpture called Maman, in front of the National Art Museum in Ottawa, Canada, in a sunny day of summer. As I'm showing in my GiftSmart website: https://www.giftsmart.com/maman-the-giant-spider/, the sculpture was created by Louise Bourgeoisand and displayed in 2005. The French Canadian artist, made with the idea of inspiring a mother’s love and protection. The spider is 30 feet high and it has a sac full of 26 white marble eggs planted under her belly. I added a touch of a painterly effect to my original travel photograph.

This is so cool! Great take, Tatiana! We have one about ten feet high in the local Museum of Modern Art. It's in a ground floor corner window so I make a point of passing by if I'm in the area.
Mary Bedy
Ah she's everywhere. This one looks larger than some others I've seen. Great image, Tatiana!
